Cartalax
Also known as Cartalax peptide, Ala-Glu-Asp, cartilage bioregulator
Cartalax is a tripeptide bioregulator (Ala-Glu-Asp) from Khavinson's peptide bioregulator series, specifically designed to target cartilage and connective tissue. It works by restoring the function of chondrocytes (cartilage cells) and fibroblasts through epigenetic regulation of gene expression. Research shows it can slow cartilage degradation, support joint regeneration, and improve connective tissue integrity.
How it works
Tripeptide that penetrates chondrocyte nuclei and binds to chromatin, normalizing gene expression in cartilage-forming cells. Stimulates synthesis of extracellular matrix proteins (collagen type II, aggrecan) and reduces catabolic enzymes (MMPs) that degrade cartilage.
Benefits
- Restores chondrocyte function and promotes cartilage cell renewal
- Slows cartilage degradation in osteoarthritis
- Supports regeneration of connective tissue and ligaments
- Reduces joint inflammation
- Improves joint mobility and reduces pain
- Epigenetic restoration of cartilage gene expression
